Orientations

Review the appropriate section to find information in order to find the event details for the mandatory BGE and Department Orientations.

Mandatory BGE Orientation

The Biomedical Orientation is mandatory for all incoming Biomedical PhD students. Receive your BGE Swag Bag at orientation.

View the Biomedical Graduate Education Orientation Website for event details.

After the BGE Orientation around 1:30PM, we will be offering a campus tour! This is optional for all of the students at the orientation, but this will be a good time to receive your GoCard/Georgetown ID card since we will be stopping by the GoCard office at the end of this tour.

Mandatory International Student Orientation

If you are an international graduate student, there is a two-day program of information sessions and social events for you! Although students are encouraged to attend the entire orientation, all students in F-1 and J-1 status are required to attend the Immigration Compliance and US Culture and Academic Integrity sessions.
