In addition to the departmental orientation (discussed below), don't forget...

  • All graduate students in biomedical sciences (this means you!) are also requested to attend the General Biomedical Graduate Orientation on January 4th. During the General Orientation Program on January 4th, you will have the opportunity to hear presentations from various representatives of key divisions here at GU, covering topics of importance and interest for new student members of the GU community, such as acquring your NetID, registering for courses, library services, and public transportation. There will be opportunity for questions and answers throughout the course of the General Orientation Program.
  • Spring Orientation 2008 continues Monday, January 7th & Tuesday, January 8th with Georgetown University Radiation and Laboratory Safety courses. This is not required but is recommended for students in the General Microbiology & Immunology program as well as other students who have an interest in completing an optional lab rotation as part of their graduate curriculum in science policy or biodefense. If you choose not to complete this training now, you may do so at a later time.
  • All tuition-related questions should be directed to the Office of Student Accounts.
  • All financial aid - related questions should be directed to the Office of Student Financial Services.
