Fall 2016 HOYA HUNT AND Orientations:
The Office of Career Strategy and Professional Development at Georgetown University's Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) invites you to participate in our 1st Annual HOYA HUNT! This fun scavenger hunt will take place onThursday, August 25 from 10:30AM-1:00PM (lunch will start at 1:00PM). This fun activity will allow you to meet other BGE students, and will give you a chance to explore and learn about the Georgetown campus. There will be prizes for winning teams! There is a mandatory Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) Orientation on Monday, August 29th from 9:30am to 12:30pm, located at Salon H in Georgetown Hotel and Conference Center (part of the Leavey Center).
After the BGE Orientation, be sure to participate in our Department Orientation, which will take place on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 1pm to 2:15pm. This will be held in the Med-Dent Building, North East 301. See you there!
There is also a Georgetown Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) Orientation on Tuesday, August 30th, which is recommended to attend so you can meet students and staff from other graduate programs.
International Student Orientation:
If you are an international graduate student, there is a two-day program of information sessions and social events for you! Although students are encouraged to attend the entire orientation, all students in F-1 and J-1 status are required to attend the Immigration Compliance and US Culture and Academic Integrity sessions on Tuesday, August 23rd. The orientation schedule is online, and on august 23rd, please keep in mind that you will be assigned to Group A with all Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) students.

Tuition, Registration and Coursework:
If you plan on being a full time MS student, 30 credits of coursework must be completed to graduate. For the year 2016 to 2017, there is a set tuition for 12 credits and above in the Fall ($23,138.50) and 12 credits and above in the Spring ($23,138.50). There will be no additional tuition charges for more than 12 credits. If you are planning to take less than 12 credits, then you will be paying per credit. If you have not registered yet for your classes, feel free to go onto MyAccess (http://myaccess.georgetown.edu) and register for the classes needed according to your coursework. Each program's curriculum will be listed under your program on the left. This registration period will be closed at the end of the second week of the Fall semester.
