Welcome to the Department of Microbiology & Immunology!


Enrollment Check List....

All graduate students in biomedical sciences (this means you!) are requested to attend the General Biomedical Graduate Orientation on January 9th. During the General Orientation Program on Monday, January 9th, you will have the opportunity to hear presentations from various representatives of key divisions here at GU, covering topics of importance and interest for new student members of the GU community, such as acquiring your NetID, registering for courses, library services, and public transportation. There will be opportunity for questions and answers throughout the course of the General Orientation Program.

Orientation Schedule
Office of Biomedical Graduate Education:
Attendance at the general orientation program is considered mandatory for all biomedical M.S. and Ph.D. students. More Info.

General Orientation 10 am - 12:30 pm
Lunch 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Location: TBD

Note: Georgetown University Radiation and Laboratory Safety courses are not required but recommended for students in the General Microbiology & Immunology program as well as other students who have an interest in completing an optional lab rotation as part of their graduate curriculum in science policy or biodefense.

Office of International Programs:
All international students in F-1 and J-1 status are REQUIRED to attend the Immigration Reporting Session on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.
